I try to paint feelings not objects or places. Colors and shadows and shapes. I'm drawn to simple compositions. Architecture, boats, everyday items. Suggestions of activity - interior and exterior roles. What's going on? Who lives there? What time of day? I know what that is! I love to paint - the process of placing pigments on a painting surface is relaxing and creatively rewarding. Sharing the results is the final part of that process. |
