I've been a radio broadcaster my entire career - on the air and managing. Most recently I was on the Senior Staff of WNYC, NY Public Radio - the largest NPR station in the United States and General Manager for 5 radio stations in Boston, owned by Greater Media.
I've been painting for myself since 1988. In 2001 I began studying with NY based artist Irvin Lopez and since then at The Art Student's League in New York City, the School at the Museuam of Fine Arts in Boston and the Castle Hill Center for the Arts in Truro, Massachusetts and the Provincetown Art Association. Some of my work has been selected by the Projekt30 Juried Exhibition for shows in May and July 2006, The Westmoreland Nationals in 2009 the Schoolhouse Gallery and PAAM both in Provincetown in 2009. My work was also chosen as a Tips and Picks by NYArts Magazine. My paintings have been included in shows of The Truro Group, The Provincetown Art Association and Museum, FAWC in Provincetown, The Hanson Gallery in Knoxville, Tennesse, Artworks in Orleans, Mass, The Schoolhouse Gallery in Provincetown, The Castle Hill Center for the Arts and Outer Cape Art Auctions in Provincetown, Massachusetts.
